The  Site is a Caravan Club and Motorhome Club affiliated site conforming to their rules and regulations. It is in a neatly-mown field off a private drive and is a partially sloping site bordered on three sides by trees. There are 40 spacious pitches mostly arranged around the edge of the field. Facilities include electrical hook-ups, Wifi, an information hut, two watering points and one chemical disposal point. THERE ARE NO SHOWERS OR TOILETS

The site is open from May to October inc. The Warden, Glyn, is normally on site every morning between 9am and 10am and again between 5pm and 6pm in the evening. His telephone number is 01929 480702 and messages can be left which he will usually attend to throughout the day. Mobile telephone and TV receptions are not reliable.

A deposit of £20 is required for a booking which will be confirmed by email. Please check we have the details down correctly. Outstanding fees are payable by cash on arrival or by debit or credit cards. We cannot guarantee requests for specific pitches but will do our best to accommodate you. Certain pitches are available for the whole season, please ask Glyn for details.

Some summer evenings nearby Smedmore House hosts weddings and celebrations. Dance music will continue until midnight on these dates. Dates in 2024 to avoid if peace and quiet is important: May 25, June 29, July 6, 13, 23, August 10, 17 22, 24, September 7, 14.

Caravan arrival times on these days will be restricted to avoid disrupting these private wedding ceremonies. Please also avoid the Avenue & Permissive Path during these times.
